Journal of Educational Synthesis Studies

1. About the Journal

Journal of Educational Synthesis Studies (JESS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to the publication of review-based and evidence synthesis research across all domains of education. Published by Indosainstech ID, the journal was established in response to the growing methodological sophistication of synthesis studies in educational research and the need for a focused, high-quality venue where such work can be rigorously evaluated and widely disseminated.

JESS publishes original manuscripts that systematically interrogate, map, and synthesize the existing body of educational knowledge. The journal serves as a dedicated platform for researchers who seek to consolidate fragmented evidence, identify patterns and gaps in the literature, and generate actionable insights that inform educational policy, practice, and future inquiry. Unlike general education journals that accept synthesis studies alongside primary empirical work, JESS is exclusively committed to review methodology as its defining scholarly orientation
