Journal Qur’anic Insights in Science (JQIS) is an interdisciplinary scholarly journal devoted to the study of the relationship between the Qur’an and science. The journal publishes original research that critically examines Qur’anic perspectives on nature, scientific interpretation of Qur’anic verses, and the methodological, epistemological, and ethical dimensions of engaging revelation with contemporary scientific knowledge. JQIS aims to promote rigorous academic dialogue on how the Qur’an informs, frames, and enriches scientific understanding of the natural world.
JQIS welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and review studies on topics including, but not limited to, the following: Qur’anic verses on nature and natural phenomen; Qur’an-based science education; Scientific exegesis (tafsir ‘ilmi) of the Qur’an; Epistemology of revelation and science; Philosophy of science in Qur’anic perspective; Ethical dimensions of science in the Qur’an; Life sciences, health, and environment in Qur’anic perspective; History of Muslim engagement with science; Applied studies inspired by Qur’anic scientific perspectives.
